Who is sending the messages

Conversational SMS replies are sent from a personal Twilio number on behalf of Jose Antonio Ortiz by his AI assistant, "Emily." The sender is a single individual, not a marketing organization.

Who receives the messages

Recipients are individuals who have provided their phone number directly to Mr. Ortiz, in person, by email, or by phone, in the course of his real-estate, lending, and legal work, or in family and personal communication. There is no public sign-up form, no purchased list, and no marketing campaign.

What we send

• Call-back notifications when Mr. Ortiz cannot answer.
• Meeting and appointment confirmations.
• One-on-one conversational replies to messages those recipients have sent to Mr. Ortiz.

No promotional content. No surveys. No third-party advertisements. No links to external sites unless the recipient specifically asked for one.

How opt-in works

Opt-in is verbal at the time the phone number is exchanged. Mr. Ortiz tells each recipient that his AI assistant Emily may send conversational SMS on his behalf, and the recipient agrees verbally. Every first SMS to a new recipient includes the phrase "Reply STOP to unsubscribe."

How opt-out works

Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, OPTOUT) to any message. The number is removed immediately from the contact directory and will not receive any further messages. Reply START at any time to resubscribe.

Reply HELP to receive program assistance.

What data we collect

• The recipient's mobile phone number, as the recipient provided it directly to Mr. Ortiz.
• The text content of SMS messages sent and received through this program.
• A record of opt-in (verbal consent at the time the number was exchanged) and opt-out (STOP keyword and time/date) events.
• Timestamps and basic delivery status for each message, returned by the carrier.

We do not collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, browser cookies, location data, or any third-party tracking pixels through this messaging program.

How we use the data

Phone numbers and message content are stored on Mr. Ortiz's own infrastructure for the sole purpose of operating this conversational SMS messaging service. They are not sold, rented, leased, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The only third parties who handle this data are the messaging carrier (Twilio Inc.) and the underlying telecom infrastructure required to deliver the SMS itself, strictly as service providers under contract, not for any marketing use of their own.

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency is conversational and low — typically up to 10 messages per month per recipient, only in direct response to the recipient's own communications with Mr. Ortiz. Message and data rates may apply based on the recipient's mobile carrier and plan.

This policy may be updated periodically; the effective date above reflects the most recent revision.
